  • Currently I using endstops for X and Y, but I have tested and tuned sensorless homing for X and Y, and I works quite well. I am using a BL Touch as a sensor for the Z Axis and did not test this trick. But I'm pretty sure it won't work.

The movement is done at a reduced motor current to prevent breaking parts and promote skipped steps. Marlin will then rehome Z axis and restore normal current setting.
Sensorless homing means not using endstop switches, but instead detecting the stall when the axis reaches the limit of its travel. Configuring sensorless homing requires some trial and error, as there are multiple variables to adjust and tune in. Prior to beginning this, open Gcode to better understand the commands being used.
SKR 1.3 is a great board and have been proven to be the perfect upgrade for 3D printers also is cheap. What i like the most is the ability to replace the stepper drivers (it will be nice to have TMC2209 or even better TMC5160) according to your needs and make use of all this new features that come with the new steppers e.g. sensorless homing.
Sensorless homing is still out on the Z axis, can't get this currently to work regardless how much or how less power i give them. Both Z motors dock on for a while at the top with a long 'brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-brrrrrr', instead of the quick 'br-br' that X and Y now do.

After a bit of research seems PTFE lube is the better option and picked up a small bottle from the ol' lowes.     I think i'll keep my Z-axis sensor and keep sensorless other axis. Because even with 255 set in stallguard it still don't trigger my Z-axis sensorless homing. I'm not using a probe, just leting the axis hit it's end as the other axis, and i saw that it can damage the leadscrew if you let it keep going.

When the BLTouch starts up initially or starts a G28 homing sequence it extends its probe and if any obstruction is found it goes in to a flashing alarm mode. This firmware is configured to use the BLTouch as Z-Probe. To do this the leveling of Z is performed in the middle. I will fix the currents when I release the next version of the firmware. No need to worry about that, the maximum current is only used for sensorless homing and this feature is disabled in this specific version of the firmware.
